Facts – C. was charged with assaulting his then partner outside of a bar in Langley. Crown called her has a witness, and she came to court and testified that C. assaulted her while they were in the car outside. After a half day cross-examination, and Mr. C. took the stand in his own defence Crown counsel invited an acquittal.
