R. v. G., Feb 2020 BCPC

Facts – G. was outside of a local establishment when an argument ensued with a taxi driver. Thing escalated, G. made threats and pulled knife. He was charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, and uttering threats. G. was drunk at the time, made a mistake and apologized for his actions.

Result – After pleading guilty G. received a conditional discharge (No Criminal Record).
