R. v. L., Feb 2020 BCSC

Facts – L. was charged with possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking. The matter was set for trial in Supreme Court, and Crown started the case by calling the lead investigating officer on day 1 of the trial.

Result – After defence cross-examination of the lead investigating officer on day 1, the Crown entered a stay of proceedings on day 2 in court (Charges Dropped).
